The Guardian has highlighted the contradiction of major supporters of health in South Africa being instrumental in the cause of ill health in the first place through investing in mining. As a supposed hotbed region of HIV/AIDS, one cannot help think that the saviour is inadvertently the poisoner, whether understood from a mainstream or Rethinking view.
