Boy faces year of tests and treatment from needle injury

The Sentinel (Stoke) has a strange article today on the need for a boy to undergo a year of tests due to a stray needle injury. The article should ask if the needle should be tested before any actions on the boy. Furthermore, the orthodoxy says HIV cannot survive long when exposed to air, plus if the needle went through the shoe, any blood would have been buffered by the material before reaching his toe.
