AIDS Dissident Professor Survives Misconduct Investigation

SAN FRANCISCO (Rethinking AIDS), July 7, 2010 - In the Orwellian world of big science, where the facts don't matter, the story of AIDS has a new unseemly chapter.

Peter Duesberg, professor of biochemistry and molecular biology at UC Berkeley, has been exonerated by vice-provost Sheldon Zedeck on the completion of a six month misconduct investigation. The provost wrote: There is "..insufficient evidence ... to support a recommendation for disciplinary action, pursuant to the Faculty Code of Conduct."

Singapore, February 22nd 2010

Family and friends of CASS MANN (1948-2009) release tribute to the late AIDS campaigner and co-founder of POSITIVELY HEALTHY, the British support group for men living with HIV and AIDS.

'CASS MANN, co-founder of POSITIVELY HEALTHY and one of the first gay men in the UK to be diagnosed with HIV, died in London of Hodgkin's Lymphoma on April 18th 2009. It took five months for the police to break the news to his family. Following Cass's funeral in September 2009 his brother MARCUS MANSUKHANI posted news of Cass's death on YouTube via AIDS Videos. On reading his message, some of Cass's friends contacted Marcus, and a consensus emerged that we should pay tribute publicly to Cass's 24-year campaign to help gay men live well and healthily with HIV.'

Are You Positive?, by Stephen Davis. (2008) Ripped from the headlines of today's news, 26-year-old Tyree Johnson stands accused of first degree murder in a South Carolina courtroom. He was diagnosed HIV-Positive, and the prosecution claims that he infected his girlfriend, who later died, with HIV. The defense, however, claims there is reasonable doubt that Tyree's HIV diagnosis was wrong - that, according to numerous scientific studies, the so-called "HIV tests" are fraught with errors. Furthermore, Tyree's lawyer argues that there is no scientific evidence that HIV is transmitted by heterosexual intercourse, and that Tyree's girlfriend died from taking lethal anti-retroviral drugs rather than from any HIV/AIDS-related illness.

Based on more than 500 actual scientific studies and references, Are You Positive? raises serious questions about whether anyone has ever been properly diagnosed as HIV-Positive, and whether most AIDS victims are dying from the side-effects of the HIV medications prescribed by their doctors.
